How to avoid uneven edges of steel coils during the steel coil slitting process?

What will cause the uneven edges of the steel coil during the steel coil slitting process? There are many reasons.

1. Tension strength not enough will cause the uneven slitting edge. Reason:the tension strength too small when recoiling just start,and the tension strength too big when recoiling will finish.To solve this problem, u just need increase the tension strength when start recoiling, and decrease a little the tension strength when recoiling will finish.
2. Uneven of recoiler tension strength. Reason: coil head uneven or uneven when insert the jaws of the recoiler. Solution: cut the coil head to make it even when inset to the jaws of the recoiler.
3. Uneven collection caused by frequent machine stop. Reason:When slitting machine stop or start, there is no tension between the slitting machine and the recoiler, and the contact pressure with the inner steel plate is reduced, and the sheet material is easily offset from the inner tail. Solution: make slitting machine stop as little as possible.
